Following the release of the 2020 album Memory Lane, many criticized the instrumental album for its usage of samples/loops. On Joseph Madril's second album, the usage is increased to the maximum–some tracks are 100% samples/loops while others mix original recordings. Genre wise, this 18 track self titled album expands on the pop sounds found on Madril's 2020 Undertow EP (some of the tracks from that EP included on the album), mixed with alternative, country and dance-pop.
